Who Are We?
Goal |
Monta Vista C++ Club teaches members the C++ programming language and advanced programming techniques. We focus largely on teaching the specifics of C++, since members likely won't see this anywhere else at Monta Vista. However, we also integrate algorithmic/general programming not specific to C++.
|
Audience |
We recommend that you have some programming experience. Having taken the Java course at MV is perfect.
However, we do offer plenty of support for beginners. Our officers will be available for 1-on-1 assistance during meetings. In addition, we will upload beginner-level presentations to our website. We always take our audience into account for our presentation – in fact, we tailor every presentation to the skill level of the audience in the room. |
Meetings |
We meet Mondays during lunch in room E203.
|
Special Events |
We will also be organizing interschool hackathons and programming competitions, where members can use their C++ knowledge to win cool prizes!
